Have questions about in-home nursing care?

We’ve answered some of the most common queries to help you understand our services, costs, and how to get started.

What types of in-home nursing care do you provide?

We provide a range of in-home nursing services, including:

  • Nursing Assessments
  • Continence Care
  • Cognitive Impairment Screening
  • Wound Care
  • Medication Management

Each service is personalised to meet your individual needs, ensuring you receive the best care possible in the comfort of your home.

How do I get started with your services?

Getting started is simple! You can contact me through the website here, by phone, or email. We’ll arrange an initial consultation to discuss your needs and create a personalised care plan tailored specifically to you. I’ll be there every step of the way to ensure your comfort and safety.

How much does in-home nursing care cost?

The cost of care depends on the services required and the frequency of visits. After the initial consultation, I’ll provide you with a clear, personalised quote. We offer flexible payment options and will work with you to ensure the care fits your budget and needs.

What areas do you service?

We provide in-home nursing care from Noosaville and across surrounding aeas, typically within a 30km radius. This includes much of the Noosa region and nearby communities. If you’re located outside this area, services can still often be arranged—travel and pricing can be discussed to suit your needs.

Are you fully qualified to provide in-home nursing care?

Yes, Katerenga, the owner, is a fully qualified Registered Nurse with over 18 years of experience. She is committed to providing the highest level of care, and takes pride in offering thorough, personalised and compassionate services to each of our clients. She is supported by Qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurses who work directly under her, ensuring your care is always being overseen by a RN.

Can I choose you to be my nurse?

Absolutely! Since I am the sole RN on the team, you’ll receive consistent care from me. I’ll work with you directly to build a relationship and ensure the care I provide meets your needs. During any leave I may take, or peak periods, is usually where our EEN’s step in to assist.

Do you offer services for people with dementia or Alzheimer’s?

Yes, we offer specialised care for individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Our team have a lot of experience with helping those with cognitive impairments live safely in their home. Due to being the primary nurse, and supported by a small team, we can provide continuity of care, which is important to help support those with memory issues and beneficial in being able to monitor and review behaviour and cognition. We can assess and make recommendations in the home, and can also refer you to suitable specialised Dementia services, if needed.

What happens if I need care outside of regular hours?

We understand that care needs can arise at any time. While our availability is primarily during regular hours, we am happy to discuss options for after-hours or emergency care on a case-by-case basis. Just reach out, and we can find a solution.

Will I need a medical referral to access your services?

A referral is not necessary to begin receiving care. However, if you have specific medical needs, such as catheter changes or medication administration, a referral from your GP or specialist is needed to ensure suitable, safe and tailored care planning to meet your care needs.

How do you ensure the care you provide is of the highest quality?

We are deeply committed to providing the best possible care to every client. We regularly assess your care plan to ensure its meeting your needs; we keep in contact with your relevant care team and we're always open to feedback from you or your family to continuously improve the services we provide. We keep up to date with current best practice standards with regular training and our goal is to always offer expert care within my scope of practice that is compassionate and personalised.
